🐾 Happy National Dog Day to CABA’s unofficially-official mascot, Finn! 💚

He’s lounging. He’s napping. He’s visiting our neighbors. He’s getting CPR certified. He’s posted around Hoover like a wanted fugitive so nobody accidentally lets him out.

And most importantly, he LOVES our kiddos - and they love him right back.

One of our favorite things is watching clients who are unsure or afraid of dogs slowly become curious about Finn, wanting to feel his fur, learning how to gently pet him, and getting a little braver at their own pace. 🥹

And to the CABA families who have had to buy a dog because their kid fell in love with Finn… our apologies. 😂🐶

Fall is always one of the most bittersweet seasons at Connected ABA. 🍂💙

As we celebrate **11 incredible kiddos** moving on to their next chapter whether it be Pre-K, Kindergarten, and beyond, we also welcome new learners beginning their own journeys with us.

It's a season filled with both happy and heavy hearts. We say goodbye to children we've had the privilege of watching grow while opening our doors to families who are just beginning their ABA journey.

To our graduates and their families: thank you for trusting us, especially those who have been with us since the very beginning of CABA. Being a small part of your child's growth has been one of our greatest honors, and we couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished. We know they'll continue to do amazing things.

To our dedicated staff: thank you for the patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment you pour into every child, every single day. Your hard work helps make moments like these possible.

And to every family who has trusted us with their children - thank you. We are so grateful to walk alongside you during such an important season of life.

Here's to celebrating how far our graduates have come, welcoming new beginnings, and continuing to change lives together. 💙✨

We hope y’all had a COOL Fourth of July weekend! 😎🇺🇸

Our kiddos kicked things off last week with water day, rocket pops, BIG smiles, and a visit from Kona Ice! 🍧💙 We may have had a few brain freezes, but they were totally worth it.

The fun didn’t stop the learning, either! Our friends practiced making choices, identifying colors, communicating, waiting their turn, and using all those awesome skills they work on every day, all while enjoying a sweet treat.

Happy Juneteenth from the team at Connected ABA Collaborative! 🎉❤️🖤💚

This week, our learners explored the history, symbols, and traditions of this important holiday through fun, hands-on activities! Here is a peek at what we did:

•Flag Crafts: We painted Juneteenth flags and made symbol bracelets.

•Red Foods: We learned the significance of red foods, crafted paper squishies, and went on an exciting "RED" scavenger hunt!

•Pan-African Pride: We threaded dyed pasta to make colorful necklaces honoring the Pan-African flag.

•Drum Day: We built our own "Tic Toc" spin drums and even got to play with real African drums to celebrate the heartbeat of African traditions!

•Beading Fun: We practiced our fine motor skills with a hands-on hair-beading activity.

We’re so excited to officially launch our new website and refreshed brand for Connected ABA Collaborative! 🎉

Our new website was designed not only to share more about who we are and the clinic-based ABA services we provide, but also to serve as a helpful resource hub for families navigating autism-related supports.

Families can visit our site to learn more about our child-centered, play-based ABA programs, find trusted providers who evaluate children for ASD, explore community resources, and connect with organizations that help support families with advocacy, financial resources, IEP navigation, and more.

Our goal is for this website to be a place families can turn to for guidance, connection, and support - whether they are just beginning their journey or looking for additional resources along the way.
