A common thing I hear from clients is:
"I didn't realize how tight I was until I wasn't."
Tension has a way of becoming normal.
You get used to clenching your jaw.
You get used to holding your shoulders up.
You get used to shallow breathing.
You get used to living in a body that never fully relaxes.
Over time, "normal" starts to feel like "just the way I am."
It isn't.
The body remembers how to soften.
Sometimes it just needs the right environment to do so.
