The first two new monofilament, hook and lead receptors have been been installed at Sandy Bottoms and the Toccoa River Dial.
As part of the chapters conservation efforts to keep unwanted materials out of our local waterways.
Additional receptors will be placed at Deep Hole, Curtis Switch, Horseshoe Bend, McCayesville Park, Rock and Coopers Creek.
Our first receptor placed at Tammen Park continues to get regular use.

Great job Ms Panter and the students of Fannin Middle School for another great year of Trout in the Classroom. For twenty years BRMTU has supported this great program teaching our young people about trout and our local cold water resources. See you in the Fall

Rivers Alive is this Saturday the 27th 8:30 to noon at Tammen Park. If you can’t come that day you can help by picking up trash and debris that could get into our cold waters.
My pre pick, Wilscot, Rock, Coopers and Skennah Creeks as well as the upper Toccoa.
Take a picture and estimate the weight and be part of the solution.

Thanks to all the volunteers who made today’s Kids Fishing Day at the Hatchery a huge success.
Blue Ridge Mountain #696, Chattahoochee Nantahala #692, Friends of the Hatchery and the host Chattahoochee National Forest Hatchery.
A great time was had by all

Trout Camp 2025 officially begins. BRMTU has two campers this year, both young men are looking forward to learning about TU, conservation, bugs and fishing.
