I’ve had the privilege of knowing Jerry since the days of teaching classes at the Fieldhouse, through the home gym days (where he even helped us with remodeling projects!), and now here at Elevation Fitness. If there’s one thing that’s remained consistent through all those years, it’s this:

My family probably thinks I’m crazy for working out at 1:00am but I was irritated laying there for hours not being able to sleep and I was going to get up at 5am to workout anyways 😂

No. We specialize in semi-private personal training. You’ll have a coach guiding you every session, but you’ll follow a program designed specifically for your goals, abilities, and fitness level.

YES! In fact, that’s our specialty. We help women 35-55 build muscle, improve energy, boost metabolism, and navigate the changes that come with perimenopause and menopause.

“I just don’t have the energy.”

“I’m too out of shape.”

“I’m afraid I’ll fail again.”

“I’m nervous to walk into a gym.”

If you’ve ever said any of those things, you’re not alone.

One of the biggest misconceptions about fitness is that you need to be fit before you start. You don’t.

You just need to be willing to take the first step.

When Emily Higgins started at Elevation Fitness, she felt weak, out of shape, and unsure of what she could do. Managing Type 1 diabetes meant some days her blood sugar was high, some days it was low, and some days she simply didn’t feel great. On top of that, she was dealing with a frozen shoulder.

Many people would have convinced themselves that those challenges meant they couldn’t do it.

Instead, Emily showed up.

We adjusted. We learned. We found what worked for her on the days her blood sugar was high, low, and everything in between. We worked around her shoulder. We focused on progress, not perfection.

Today, Emily has completed 80 strength training sessions. 💪

The last few weeks, this young man of mine came in to Elevation and has absolutely blown me away. He’s stepped up, shown up, proved reliability, he CARES, and he’s enjoying it. There’s always more to learn, but he has been a life saver in so many ways. Needless to say, I’m proud of my boy!
