It was such a spectacular day at the 351st Narragansett Pow Wow in Rhode Island. It is believed to be the oldest ongoing one in North America. It also lined up with - a celebration of Native American families and World Breastfeeding Week. I loved feeling, seeing, and hearing all of the beautiful energies in the air. I hope to learn through multicultural events the ways I can best support all families! Loved this beautiful day. ♥️

I visited my niece Mia today. She has 3 babies under 2 years old! I've been on vacation in Utah, for the last 2 weeks and was starting to miss holding little babies! I was so happy to meet her twins and see her and her toddler 💛💛💛. I'll be back in Massachusetts for consults August 7th. 🤗 See you soon!

This Monday at 10a (at 440 Somerville Ave) is the last drop in, Mind and Milk group until the fall.
I'm on vacation, so we have Dr. Maegen Brady Union Square PT who will do a piece on the pelvic floor, tying in useful poses and breathing techniques and bladder health and offer a complimentary 20 minute full body diagnostic session. I love when clients send me updates on their feeding experiences! The hour or two I spend in a consult is such a small piece of the pie, that it's really so enjoyable to see growth over time.

Today I got a photo and message that said:

"We’ve made quite a bit of progress by just focusing on creating a positive feeding experience instead of focusing on how many ounces"

I'm dying! What a stunning photo of a sweet mom and baby learning about each other!

4 weeks in to the Mind and Milk Yoga Flow in Somerville. We are loving it! Come breathe, relax, feed your baby, and be present with everything you are experiencing. Thank you to all of the perinatal professionals who came to my 3rd year collaboration with the Massachusetts Lactation Consultant Association for "at breast supplementation". We had a great time sharing experiences and ideas with each other, while getting some speed with set up!
