BCP just crushed our Fourth Annual Falmouth Road Race! 💙👟☀️

On Sunday, our amazing team of runners took on Falmouth’s 7-mile course with speed, grace, and enthusiasm–decked out in BCP blue! Our deepest thanks to our runners, our donors, and our cheering section led by Team Captain Becca for once again making this race a tremendous success.

Together, these fabulous people have already raised over $71,500 for pediatric health equity! We couldn't be more proud or grateful 🩺💪

On Monday, President Trump signed an Executive Order dramatically scaling back the childhood vaccine schedule—including no longer routinely recommending several life-saving vaccines for all children and calling for the MMR vaccine to be broken up into separate shots.

At BCP, our commitment is clear: we will continue to follow evidence-based vaccine recommendations and do everything we can to keep our children and our community healthy.

The evidence supporting childhood vaccination is overwhelming. Over the past 30 years, routine childhood vaccines in the United States are estimated to have prevented more than 500 million illnesses, 32 million hospitalizations, and 1.1 million deaths.

We are especially proud to practice medicine in Massachusetts, where the Commonwealth has maintained an independent, evidence-based childhood immunization schedule aligned with recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The bottom line? Childhood vaccines are extensively studied, safe, and life-saving.

If you have questions or concerns about vaccines, talk to your trusted pediatrician.

Today is National Underwear Day! Why does that matter to BCP? Because health is more than healthcare. 💙

BCP was thrilled to recently welcome to Albany Street our amazing community partner, Cocotree Kids 🌳🩲 Since 2023, Cocotree Kids has helped BCP address clothing insecurity by ensuring that all patients have access to new, clean underwear at every visit–and at no cost to them. These contributions not only help improve children’s health and hygiene, they also nurture their confidence, self-esteem, and basic dignity.

It’s something every child deserves.

The cuddles continue!

Millie the therapy dog is the sweetest dog in the world–she loves greeting everyone she meets and is always eager to play, cuddle, and be held!

We are so happy to have had pawsitivelymilliefine visit BCP over the past few months, where she fills the office with warmth, joy, and lots of furry fun. Our deepest thanks to Millie for helping BCP expand children’s access to innovative mental health support, with the special comfort that only a therapy dog can provide.
