Last week, we launched our first Provider Procedure Skills Bootcamp! Over two days, providers gathered for hands-on, peer-led training in essential primary care procedures—from suturing and injections to biopsies and long-acting contraception.

By empowering our team to practice at the top of their license, this training strengthens clinical confidence while expanding patient access to essential procedures in every community we serve.

How has working here helped you grow professionally in your healthcare career? "Working here has helped me grow a lot in my confidence as a Medical Assistant. I’ve been able to strengthen the skills I already had while also learning new things and becoming more comfortable taking on different responsibilities. I feel like I’m always learning and continuing to grow in my career."

What is the most rewarding part of being a medical assistant at our clinic? "For me, the most rewarding part is the patients. I really enjoy getting to know them and being someone, they feel comfortable with. Even the little things, like listening to someone or helping make their visit a little easier, can make a difference, and that’s something I really value."

How would you describe the team culture and support among the staff here in three words? "Supportive, welcoming, and caring."

What makes our clinic a special place to work compared to other healthcare settings? "What makes our clinic special to me is the people. We really work as a team, and there’s always someone willing to help when you need it. We wanted to highlight our incredible Physician Assistant in Belgrade, Christina Richardson MSPAS, PA-C!

Here's where she finds her inspiration:

"My mother was a nurse and this gave my a peek into the world of medicine from a young age. I found myself early on having an interest in the sciences and gravitating towards helping other and caregiving. I was a lifeguard in my teenage years and was required to take lifesaving/first aid classes as well as CPR and that continued to spark my interest in medicine. When it came time to apply to colleges it felt like a very natural and logic decision."
