🎒 Back-to-school is right around the corner, and that means it’s time to stock up on school supplies, sharpen those pencils… and check those backpacks!
A backpack shouldn’t weigh more than 10–15% of your child’s body weight. Carrying too much can lead to neck, shoulder, and back pain, poor posture, and even headaches.
Here are a few quick tips:
✔️ Pack only what they need each day.
✔️ Place heavier items closest to the back.
✔️ Encourage them to use both shoulder straps instead of slinging it over one shoulder.
✔️ Adjust the straps so the backpack sits snugly in the middle of the back—not hanging low.
A few small adjustments now can help prevent aches and pains all school year long.
