This one will be right at home in her beautiful ‘68 Firebird. 219/229 @ .050 Howard’s 4/7 swap cam, 650 Brawler carb on the Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock Max Fire Ignition and Doug’s headers.

Attention TransAm Owners: We have several XX 400 blocks to build your dream engine on. These are ‘78-‘79 W-72 blocks for TransAms replacing the weaker 557 blocks the earlier TransAms came with. The 557 blocks are fine for cruising but the XX is one of Pontiac’s best blocks for higher performance applications.

My First Car. Tell us what your first car was - even if it’s not a Pontiac. I’ll start…
My first car was a 1964 Pontiac Tempest with a 215 6 cylinder and 3 on the tree. I got it when I was 12 years old and 53 years later I’m still a playing with these cars!
In fairness, this is a picture of my ‘64 GTO because when I was 12 you had to take a picture, then take the film to Fotomat for developing and I didn’t have money for that kind of stuff!
