Tried everything and still feel like you’re fighting your own brain? 🥊

Here’s the thing: your brain reacts to how you sleep, eat, move, stress, and connect. Lifestyle medicine works on those foundations.

Dynamical neurofeedback helps your brain settle so the changes actually stick.
Together, they’re a plan, not just another thing to try.

This is my idea of ultimate relaxation: a brain-calming neurofeedback session with Tony purring on my lap. 🧠🐾

That’s the beauty of training at home. No driving, no waiting room, just you in your comfy spot with your favorite furry companion. Tony shows up for every session. 😻

You can do this too! I offer home rental systems and systems to purchase, available anywhere in the US.

👉 Comment “TONY” or DM me to learn how to bring brain training home. Your pet will thank you. 🐾

You don’t have to wait for a diagnosis to start protecting your brain. Research suggests that close to half of dementia cases may be tied to risk factors we can change. Here are 3 things you can start today:

🥗 Eat for your brain. A Mediterranean or plant-based way of eating means lots of vegetables, leafy greens, berries, beans, whole grains, nuts and olive oil, and less processed food.

🚶‍♀️ Move your body. Aim for 150 minutes a week of moderate activity, like a brisk walk where you can talk but not sing. Add 2 days of strengthening your major muscle groups. Start where you are, because every bit counts.

🌿 Manage your stress. Chronic stress takes a toll on the brain. Deep breathing, fresh air, sunshine, coping skills, and anything else that calms your nervous system help you build resilience.

Small steps, done consistently, add up. Which one are you starting with this week? 👇

I asked Gavin if he’s had any side effects from brain training. His answer: “Having a good life.” 😄

He describes his sessions as feeling like a meditation — you just sit back, relax, and let your brain do the work. No effort, no homework, nothing to “get right.”

Brain training is available:

He’s the best 💕

Maybe one day I’ll try hooking him up to my machine 😂

When our kids suffer, we suffer too. 💛

Gavin was diagnosed with ADHD in 3rd grade, and as his mom, I’ve carried worry for him ever since.

Today, I watch him thrive. He’s building a career, in a healthy relationship, being an amazing dad, and he’s no longer getting into car accidents. Most of all, he’s HAPPY and at peace. And he’s doing it 100% medication free!

Brain training played a huge part in his turnaround. And as he found his footing, something shifted in me too. I’m not waiting for the next phone call anymore. For the first time in years, I can exhale - as I knock on wood 🤣

When one person in a family heals, the whole family breathes easier.

If you’re a parent still holding your breath, there’s hope, for them and for you.

Back doing what I love, and I owe it to my brain training. 🧠💪

I spent 20 years as a trainer, and movement has always been my happy place. Then high stress caught up with me. My health crashed, and chronic fatigue kept me off the floor for a long time.

Brain training changed that for me. If it wasn’t for neurofeedback, I wouldn’t be back on the floor doing moves like this one, and loving every rep.

Therapy alone wasn’t working 🧠

He showed up and did the talking. But when your nervous system is stuck in survival mode, it’s hard to take in what you’re learning, or organize thoughts and feelings with clarity.

In this clip, Gavin tells Michael and I what made the difference: regulating his nervous system first with dynamical neurofeedback. Once his brain felt calmer, life started to click.

Dynamical neurofeedback doesn’t replace therapy. It helps your brain show up ready for it. 💛

👉 Stay tuned for the next clip. He opens up about how anxiety and sleep troubles were running his life, and how he’s now medication-free and living his best life.

Lifestyle medicine has 6 pillars, and they work together. You can eat clean and train hard, but if your stress never shuts off or your sleep isn’t truly restorative, your body stays stuck in survival mode.

Sedated sleep (via sleeping pills) isn’t the same as restorative sleep. Chronic high cortisol shows up in your sleep, your focus, your digestion, and your long-term brain health.

That’s why stress management and sleep are part of every program I build.

Want to evaluate and work on all 6 pillars? DM me or book a session at Optimal Health Rx. 💙

GLP-1s are everywhere right now, and for some people they’re a legit tool. But no medication builds muscle, fixes your sleep, calms your nervous system, or teaches you how to eat for the long haul.

That part’s still on us. 💪🧠🥗

This is what the “work” actually looks like for me: movement, real food, brain training, and quality supplements. Not flashy. Just consistent.
