📢 Important update for State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) members (Calhoun City Schools & Gordon County teachers and employees)

We know how many of you rely on the State Health Benefit Plan, and we want you to hear about this change from people who care about you.

Beginning October 1, 2026, SHBP members will have a choice for weight-loss injection prescriptions:

✅ Option 1: Use 9am Health for your weight-loss injection prescriptions.
✅ Option 2: RETURN to your local healthcare provider for your weight-loss injection prescriptions!

Whichever path feels right for you, we’re here to support you.
You’ve spent your year taking care of our students and our community. Your health matters just as much, and you deserve options and a team that’s in your corner.

Please confirm eligibility, coverage, and prior-authorization requirements directly with SHBP or your health plan.
