If pain improves, everything else automatically improves too right?

Scrambler Therapy works by helping change the way pain signals are being processed by the nervous system. That's incredibly important, but it's only one piece of the puzzle.

Many people dealing with chronic pain are also navigating inflammation, poor sleep, stress, nervous system dysregulation, circulation issues, muscle deconditioning, or tissue recovery challenges.

That's why I often encourage people to think beyond a single tool.

Scrambler Therapy may help calm the pain signals.

Red and infrared light therapy may help support tissue recovery and circulation.

PEMF may help support cellular function and recovery.

Vagus nerve stimulation may help support nervous system regulation and resilience.

Different tools. Different jobs.

The goal isn't to throw everything at the wall. It's to understand what each tool does and use them strategically.

What's something you wish more people understood about chronic pain?

A little behind-the-scenes experimentation. While receiving Scrambler Therapy for nerve-related discomfort, we’re also trying a vibration plate to encourage movement and circulation. Sometimes it’s the combination of supportive wellness tools that helps people feel their best!

One of the most overlooked recovery tools isn't a supplement or gadget.

It's sleep.

Your nervous system does some of its most important repair work while you're sleeping.

Quick question for those living with CRPS:

Have you ever experienced cold hands or feet, red or purple spots on your fingers or toes, itching, burning, or skin that seems unusually sensitive to temperature?

You may have heard of chilblains, or you may have experienced them without knowing what they were.

I wrote a new blog exploring the possible connection between chilblains and CRPS, plus some strategies that may help support circulation and comfort.

Read more in our latest blog (in our blog folder or stories link). πŸ‘‡I'd love to hear if any of this sounds familiar.

That is some major flexibility right there, all while getting a Calmare scrambler therapy session. No, scrambler therapy definitely isn’t painful! In fact, it can get you out of pain right away so you feel well enough to touch your nose to the ground without using your hands! 😱😜

Did you know different wavelengths of light can support different stages of skin recovery?

πŸ”΄ Red Light (670nm)
Supports circulation and collagen production, helping your skin repair itself more efficiently.

⚫ Near-Infrared Light (810nm)
Penetrates deeper into the tissue to support cellular energy production and recovery.

πŸ”΅ Blue Light (450nm)
Known for its antibacterial properties, making it a great option for blemishes, minor skin irritations, and supporting cleaner skin during the healing process.

Whether you're dealing with cuts, scrapes, post-procedure recovery, breakouts, or simply want healthier-looking skin, combining red, infrared, and blue light can be a powerful addition to your wellness routine. And being able to isolate each wavelength is even more critical!

πŸ”₯ Our 3 Wavelength Flip Panel hits all of those boxes and it is currently $100 OFF for a limited time! πŸ”₯

With the touch of a button, you can use Red, Infrared, Blue, or any combination of the three depending on your goals. You can also select your intensity (dosage), time, and isolate each wavelength indenpendently for focused results!

One of the most common questions we hear is:

"Why is my pain always worse at night?"

It isn't necessarily because your condition is getting worse.
During the day, your brain is busy. You're moving, working, talking, driving, and processing thousands of pieces of information. Pain is still there, but your attention is divided.

At night, everything gets quiet.

There are fewer distractions, stress hormones begin to shift, fatigue sets in, and suddenly that burning, tingling, aching, or stabbing sensation moves to the front of the line.

For many people with chronic pain, neuropathy, CRPS, fibromyalgia, or other nerve-related conditions, nighttime can feel like the hardest part of the day.
This is also why we focus so much on calming the nervous system, not just addressing symptoms. When the nervous system becomes less reactive, many people find that sleep improves, pain becomes less intrusive, and recovery becomes easier.

πŸ‘‡ Tell us below, do your symptoms get worse after the sun goes down?

This is Kari! Kari has been suffering from widespread musculoskeletal and nerve issues for years now. Today was day 2 of therapy. She started with 20 minutes of red and infrared light therapy alongside pulsed electromagnetic field therapy to address the built up pain and inflammation and improve circulation and lymph flow in her body. Then she moved to scrambler therapy to address the nerve symptoms. We also added in vagus nerve stimulation to take her body out of fight and flight and sync it up with the scrambler therapy she is receiving.

After only 2 days of therapy she is already experiencing amazing results! We are excited to see how the next 8 days go for her!

What does remission from chronic pain actually feel like?

Most people imagine it means waking up one day completely symptom-free. But for many, remission is much quieter than that. Sometimes it looks like sleeping through the night for the first time in years. Sometimes it means realizing halfway through the day that you haven't thought about your pain once.

In my latest blog, I dive into what Scrambler Therapy is, how it works, what conditions it may support, and why remission looks different for everyone. If you've ever wondered whether life after chronic pain is possible, this one's for you.
