🏥 Where Should You Go When You Need Care? Start with Your Primary Care Provider! 💙
Your Primary Care Provider (P*P) knows your health history, medications, and long-term health goals, making them the best first choice for most healthcare needs.
👩⚕️ Choose Your P*P First For:
✔️ Sick visits (colds, flu, sore throat, ear infections)
✔️ Ongoing health concerns
✔️ Annual wellness visits and preventive care
✔️ Chronic disease management
✔️ Prescription refills
✔️ Follow-up appointments
✨ Need to be seen today? MCHC offers same-day appointments at all of our locations! If your regular office doesn't have an opening, patients from any MCHC location can be seen the same day at another MCHC office, helping you get the care you need as quickly as possible.
⏰ If your P*P isn't available and your illness or injury can't wait—but it's NOT an emergency—Urgent Care is the next best option.
Urgent Care is appropriate for:
✔️ Minor injuries and sprains
✔️ Fever, cough, cold, or flu symptoms
✔️ Minor cuts requiring stitches
✔️ Rashes or skin infections
✔️ Other illnesses or injuries that need prompt attention but are not life-threatening
🚨 Go to the Emergency Room ONLY for life-threatening emergencies, such as:
🚑 Chest pain
🚑 Difficulty breathing
🚑 Signs of a stroke
🚑 Severe injuries or uncontrolled bleeding
🚑 Loss of consciousness or other serious emergencies
Choosing the right place for your care helps you:
