I want to start by saying thank you again to everyone who supported me with donations for The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. Your generosity and encouragement meant a lot to me, and I was grateful to be part of a ride raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.
Unfortunately, on my way home from the ride, I was involved in a motorcycle accident.
I was traveling through a construction area with grooved pavement when my bike went into what’s often called a “death wobble.” I tried to ride it out and regain control, but the bike threw me.
I’ve been in the hospital with several injuries, including 6 broken ribs, with several broken in multiple places, a few breaks through my scapula, a hemopneumothorax, a partially collapsed lung, and some road rash.
I never lost consciousness. I was wearing my helmet and riding gloves. And I am incredibly blessed and thankful to be able to tell this story.
I’ve already felt so much love, prayer, and support, and I truly appreciate every message, call, and check-in.
That being said, I will be out of the office for several weeks while I heal. I’ll be reaching out to get appointments rescheduled. If you need to see another chiropractor in the meantime, I have some great recommendations and would be happy to connect you with someone I trust.
Thank you all for your patience, grace, prayers, and understanding.
I’m banged up, but I’m here. And I’m grateful.
