Finally got to finish up this piece we started back in March!

This was such a fun collaboration with my client mostly because she is a hairstylist that works with vivid colors and had amazing input with the design.

Friday was a good day.

Had a great client come in to work more on his sleeve.

Joel ran to Fritz Meat and Processing to grab lunch. (Joel could barely finish off his double pork burger and I could barely finish my single)

With 45 minutes before kids were out of school Joel mustered up the courage to hit his calf again before we picked up our girls.

Hey ya'll the last week has been incredibly busy we've had SO many moving parts but think we see some light at the end of the tunnel (more to come in the next couple weeks).

Last weekend was Joel's birthday. We did our annual tradition of stopping by Laux Brickhouse Grille for lunch then heading to Grafton.

Went to the flea market then stopped in at Box Mercantile to get some snacks. The owner quickly discovered every 3.5 minutes we were in there JOEL was going to find 3 more snacks and drinks to buy.

Also just missed stopping in Designs by Deseray - Grafton,IL (Joel is blaming Patti Box for maximizing his time chatting/purchasing more goodies ratio) but we didn't check the hours (we do not plan ahead). Next time!

Okay… so we’ve already changed the label 😂

If you’ve been following along you may have noticed that I’ve been rebranding a bit. We’ve revamped our logo, website, and Good Balm got a little makeover as well. But honestly? I think this version fits it so much better.

This balm has actually been part of my tattooing journey for years. I originally started making it for myself and using it throughout the tattoo process. Over the years I’ve sent it home with clients, had friends and clients test it, listened to their feedback, and continued tweaking it until it became what it is today.

So why Good Balm?

✨ During tattooing — it helps moisturize and condition the skin while tattooing.

✨ During healing — a thin layer helps keep healing skin moisturized and nourished.

✨ After healing — it can be used to moisturize dry skin and give healed tattoos that fresh, healthy looking finish.

Made with cocoa butter, coconut oil, and vitamin E, Good Balm is simple, nourishing, and made specifically with tattooed skin in mind.

And the best part?

This isn’t something I created just to put on a shelf.

It’s something I’ve been using in my own tattoo process for years.

I’ll be going through my collection and downsizing some of my plants. I’ll also have some starts, cuttings, and a few rehabs (my summer schedule has not been kind to some 😅)
