The County’s fraud awareness PSA campaign, Heroes Against Fraud, is now live. The campaign is designed to help educate residents on how to protect themselves from fraud by recognizing the warning signs of common scams and knowing what to do if they believe they have been targeted.

The creative approach uses a fun, superhero-inspired theme. When scammers strike using urgency, threats, and impersonation tactics, the best “power” residents can use is staying calm and informed. Campaign messaging encourages residents to pause, verify, and report suspicious activity — helping them protect themselves and others in the community.

Ads are currently running across TV, streaming, out-of-home, programmatic, audio, transit, social media, and print platforms in both English and Spanish. All campaign materials direct residents to the landing page for quick tips, information on common fraud schemes, and reporting resources.

What You Can Do:
· Share the background information about this campaign with your internal teams or external partners, as appropriate.
· Download and use flyers and graphics from the www.middlesexcountynj.gov/mediakit webpage.
