They did it! 👏
Our 5th & 6th graders at the Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills just completed their very first va**ng prevention course—and they’re the FIRST group at this level to do it!

They showed up, stayed engaged, and walked away with knowledge, confidence, and a commitment to being vape-free. That’s the kind of leadership that makes a difference.

We loved every minute of working with this group and can’t wait to see what they do next! Please enjoy some of their anti-va**ng ads they created that will be hung throughout the department next week 🎨

If you’d like us to come hang out with you too, let us know—we’d love to connect!

Today is World Autism Awareness Day 💙

Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder, affects millions of individuals and families worldwide. While awareness has grown, there is still work to be done to ensure equity, inclusion, and access to services.

From a public health perspective, supporting autistic individuals means:
• Improving early and equitable diagnosis
• Expanding access to supportive services
• Creating inclusive schools, workplaces, and communities

Today—and every day—we encourage you to go beyond awareness and practice acceptance and advocacy.

Together, we can build a more inclusive and healthier future for all.

☀️Parenting doesn't have to be a struggle☀️

Every parent/caregiver deserves someone in their corner. Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) is now being offered at the Moore County Health Department for ages 0-17 years to allow one-on-one support that gives you a space to talk through real-life moments and pick up practical tools that fit your family's needs. Even if everything's going well and you just have a question or two or trying to help make the relationship more positive on both ends - you're not alone. We're here to help you feel confident and supported!
