That uncomfortable question at the beginning of this reel?
Yeah… most people answered yes.
Most people admitted they have judged someone differently after finding out they used a GLP-1 medication or peptide.
And honestly? That should make all of us pause for a second.
Because we never really know what someone is struggling with behind closed doors.
Some people are battling insulin resistance.
Hormonal dysfunction.
Metabolic issues.
Inflammation.
Years of trying everything while feeling trapped in a body that would not respond.
Yet the second someone finally gets help and starts feeling better, healthier, more confident… society suddenly wants to question how they got there.
The wildest part?
A lot of that judgment is coming from other women.
We have to be better than that.
There is nothing empowering about shaming another woman for getting support with her health while she is still working on the basics and trying to change her life.
GLP-1s are not magic.
People still have to build habits.
They still have to learn nutrition.
They still have to heal their relationship with food, movement, stress, and sleep.
Sometimes these medications are not “the easy way out.”
Sometimes they are the first thing that finally gives someone’s body a fighting chance.
Maybe instead of judging women for needing help, we should ask why so many women have felt forced to struggle in silence for so long.
