Jaw pain doesn’t always stay in the jaw.

TMJ dysfunction can contribute to headaches, facial pain, ear pressure, clicking or popping, difficulty chewing, and tension that travels into the neck and shoulders. Clenching or grinding may make these symptoms even worse.

When overactive jaw muscles are contributing to the problem, therapeutic Botox may be an option. By relaxing targeted muscles, Botox may help reduce jaw tension, clenching, and related discomfort.
