Hypnotherapy can give you a new perspective and will allow you to reset some of the limiting beliefs you hold about yourself like what you are worthy of, what you can accomplish or what you can create.

What if the thing you’ve been calling “stuck” is actually just practice?

The overthinking. The worrying. The people-pleasing. The second-guessing. Even the way you talk to yourself.

Patterns feel automatic because we’ve practiced them, but that also means we can practice something new. ❤️

So today, instead of asking, “Why am I like this?” try asking: “What have I been practicing—and what would I like to practice instead?”

You’re not stuck. You’re practiced. And practice can change.

“I don’t have time.” But somehow, our phones are getting 6+ hours a day. 😳

No judgment, I’m guilty too. But what if you reclaimed just 20 minutes?

20 minutes to walk, meditate, journal, read, create, or do something that actually moves you toward the life you want.

Maybe you don’t need more time. Maybe you just need to decide where some of it goes. ❤️

Check your screen time today. Then ask: What could I give myself 20 minutes for?

09/07/2026

Maybe the better question isn’t: “What’s wrong with me?” Maybe it’s: “What have I practiced?”

Because knowing better doesn’t automatically mean we do better. You can understand exactly why you react the way you do and still find yourself repeating the same pattern. You can know you’re worthy and still seek approval. Know you’re safe and still feel anxious. Know you need a boundary and still struggle to set one.

That doesn’t mean you haven’t grown. It may simply mean the old response has had a lot more practice.

And that’s actually good news, because practice can change.

Notice the old response. Name it without judging yourself. Then ask: “What would I like to practice instead?”

You don’t have to become someone completely different overnight. You just have to start giving the person you want to become more practice. Not through shame. Through practice. ❤️

Are you actually stuck, or have you been waiting to feel ready?
We often believe life needs to change before we can feel confident, set boundaries, trust ourselves or finally move forward.

But lasting change often happens in the opposite order.
In my newest blog, I'm exploring how small, intentional repetitions can begin changing the way you think, feel and show up, before your circumstances change.

This week, I was invited to a beautiful Shanti Puja prayer memorial for the mother of some dear friends. I didn’t understand most of the words being spoken, but I could feel them. I felt the love, the reverence, the grief, the connection. I felt God there.

It reminded me of something I’ve experienced again and again when I’ve been welcomed into cultures and faiths different from my own: The closer we get to one another, the less there is to fear.

We don’t have to believe the same things to be curious about each other. We don’t have to agree to listen. And understanding someone else’s faith or culture doesn’t diminish our own.

Different traditions. Familiar longings. One shared humanity.

I wrote about the experience, and why I believe curiosity might just be one of the antidotes to fear. ❤️

This week, I was invited to a Shanti Puja prayer memorial honoring the mother of some dear friends of mine. I have been incredibly fortunate to have Hindu friends who have welcomed me into parts of their culture and faith over the years. They answer my questions. They explain traditions when I don.....

Have you ever noticed how we convince ourselves that life will finally begin when we fix that one thing?

When I lose the weight...
When my anxiety goes away...
When I have more money...
When I find the right relationship...
When I'm more confident...

We all have our version. But what if the thing you're trying to fix isn't actually what's standing in your way?

This week, I was reminded that transformation doesn't begin when life becomes perfect. It begins the moment we stop asking, "What's wrong with me?" and start asking, "Who am I becoming?"

Because... The life you're waiting for isn't on the other side of fixing yourself. It's on the other side of showing up.

I wrote a new blog about this mindset shift and why it changes everything. I'd love to hear your thoughts after you read it.

My 6-year-old grandson has been learning to play chess. Like most of us, he loves to win. But he's discovering something far more valuable... You don't get better by playing people you can beat. You get better by playing people who challenge you.

The same is true in life. Every setback. Every mistake. Every "loss." It's all practice. You're not stuck. You're practiced. The question isn't whether you're practicing... But instead, what are you becoming practiced at?

My grandson Easton is six years old and has recently fallen in love with chess. Well... maybe "fallen in love" isn't quite accurate. He loves it when he wins. He doesn't love it nearly as much when he loses. After a game, he'll often say he wants to play someone he can beat. I understand. Winning fee...
