Harrigan Development Services Harrigan Development Services provides both vocational and supportive services to individuals with disabilities.

Harrigan Development Services provides vocational placement and coaching for people with disabilities and supportive services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Our supportive services program works with adults with developmental disabilities who are dealing with issues associated with transitioning to adulthood and who have seen all or most of their services cut off after high school

. Clients and families work one-on-one with a clinical service provider to help engage in social activities and explore supports within their community. Our vocational services program works with individuals transitioning from school to work and those who are re-entering the workforce. HDS has a team of job developers and job coaches whose experience and expertise primarily center around helping clients with varying disabilities and employment needs. Whether assisting with the development of internships or permanent employment sites, the HDS team prides itself in finding innovative and creative ways to help individuals with the job search process. Harrigan Development Services also assists businesses to fulfill their diverse labor needs with pre-evaluated and job-ready candidates. Employers who seek out HDS are typically interested in finding qualified interns or permanent employees. HDS has worked with numerous small and large size businesses who have seen the win-win situation created by receiving trial employment at no cost, along with our team's continuous support to ensure success.

Stepping Stones: Self-Determination Pathway has wrapped up!

This summer, our Stepping Stones: Self-Determination group spent 8 weeks learning, exploring, and building skills around self-determination. Participants had the opportunity to reflect on their choices, identify what matters most to them, and build confidence in advocating for the lives they want to lead.

We’re so proud of everything this group accomplished and the growth we saw along the way!

And there’s more to come! New Stepping Stones opportunities are coming this fall, with pathways focused on integrated wellness and living skill development. We’re excited to keep creating opportunities for participants to learn, grow, and build meaningful independence.

Kickball, staff outing, and supporting our community- all at the same time!!

This weekend a group of our mentors got together to play in Blossom IDD ‘s kickball tournament fundraiser. This was an amazing event and such a fun way to see our staff work together outside of the work week! Thank you Blossom IDD for putting on this great community event.
