Of course, sleep can be more complex than simply following a few tips, and lifestyle factors do play a role.
The tips I shared in this post are a great place to start.

If you try these and still struggle with sleep, it may be time to take a closer look at other factors, including what you’re eating, how you’re managing stress, and whether you’re moving your body regularly.

Most women over 40 focus on cardio. And don’t get me wrong, cardio is great for heart health and energy, but women also need to start building muscle. 💪

After 35, we naturally start losing muscle and bone density, and that impacts EVERYTHING:

* our ability to burn fat
* strength to get up and down from the couch
* mobility to get around comfortably
* and it starts to deflate our confidence

Bottom line…muscle helps us age well.

In this week’s episode of the “You’re Not Crazy! It’s Perimenopause” podcast, I sat down with personal trainer, Adelade La Fontaine. Adelade said something that I loved, “If you can move, you can start.”
It’s never too late to begin building strength.

And you don’t need to to a gym to get started. Adelaide shares with us moves we can do to get started with building muscle.

Having muscle WILL help you:

INTERMITTENT FASTING… let’s talk about it. ⬇️

One of the questions I get asked ALL the time is: “Does fasting actually help women in perimenopause, or does it make things worse?”

It depends.

If intermittent fasting leaves you feeling:

❌ shaky
❌ anxious
❌ exhausted
❌ obsessed with food

…it may not be because YOU are doing something wrong.

Fasting can feel very different in perimenopause than it did in your 20s and 30s because our hormones and stress response change in midlife.

That doesn’t mean fasting is bad.

It just means we need to approach it differently. In this week’s podcast episode, I’m talking about:
