🇺🇸 In Observance of Labor Day 🇺🇸

The Academy of Allied Health Careers will be CLOSED in observance of Labor Day. 💙💛

Labor Day is more than the unofficial end of summer, it is a day dedicated to recognizing the hard work, dedication, and contributions of American workers.

The holiday grew out of the labor movement of the late 1800s and became a federal holiday in 1894, creating a day to honor the workers who have helped build and strengthen our country.

At AAHC, this day holds special meaning as we prepare students to enter the healthcare workforce, where compassion, dedication, skill, and service make a difference in the lives of others every single day. 🩺❤️

Today, we celebrate our hardworking students, graduates, faculty, staff, healthcare professionals, and workers throughout our community.

Take time to REST • REFLECT • APPRECIATE the hard work that continues to build a stronger tomorrow. 🇺🇸

🩺🔍 LEARNING CAN ABSOLUTELY BE FUN! 🔍🩺

Our Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) students had the opportunity to participate in a Violation Lab with Mrs. Mary, putting their knowledge and attention to detail to the test!

Students worked through different scenarios and were challenged to identify everything that was incorrect, unsafe, or just plain WRONG! 👀🚨

Hands-on activities like this help our students take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world healthcare situations—all while having a little fun along the way! 💙💛

At the Academy of Allied Health Careers, we believe learning doesn’t have to be boring. We’re preparing our students to recognize problems, think critically, follow proper procedures, and provide safe, quality patient care. 💪🩺

Great job, CMA students—and thank you, Mrs. Mary, for creating another fun and memorable learning experience! 👏👏
