Addi has been on our team for ✌🏼 years! 🥳 We are so grateful for Addi and we just know that she’s going to do BIG things.

Addi just graduated high school last weekend and will be headed off to college in the Fall. While she will be severely missed, we are so proud of her. 🥰

Today we’re celebrating one year with our amazing clerk/office manager, Lydia! 🎉

Over the past year she has brought so much compassion, positivity, and laughter into our pharmacy. Her bubbly personality brightens even the busiest days, and her sense of humor keeps us all smiling. 🥰

We’re so lucky to have her on our team and in our pharmacy family. Happy 1-year work anniversary — we appreciate you more than you know! 💊

✔️PBM Reform has passed out of the Kansas Senate!

We are so grateful for the immense amount of work that has been put into this bill so far - from pharmacies closing to advocate for their patients to patients advocating for their pharmacy, this has been an incredible lift.

Tomorrow, we will urge folks to thank the senators that supported us and we will start our work on the House side - but for now, we hope everyone has the chance to take a breath tonight as the fight has just begun!

PBM reform day!!

Our Pharmacy Technician, Logan, headed to Topeka alongside our owner, Merlin, and a few of the Kingman Drug and Harper Pharmacy staff to meet with Representatives and Senators to fight for you, the patient, and for all independent pharmacies across Kansas.

The PBM reform, if passed, would create transparency, help the patient save on money, and keep your local independent pharmacies afloat.

You can help by calling your representative and explaining to them just how important your local pharmacy is!

There's some misinformation being shared by big insurance companies that Kansas legislators are proposing a "pill tax", and we need your help to spread the truth!

"Kansas Employers for Affordable Healthcare" (KEAH) is an organization funded by the members shown in this image. As you can see, two of the members are giant insurance companies. Together, just these TWO companies process about half the prescriptions in the US, through their Pharmacy Benefit Managers.

Pharmacy Benefit Managers are raising drug costs for everyone (even including the other members of this organization!) while simultaneously underpaying pharmacies. This bill will prevent this from happening by forcing these companies to shift to a payment model similar to the one used by Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Pharmacy. Other states have made similar laws and saved hundreds of millions of dollars and prevented further pharmacy closures at the same time.

Our state needs to take a stand against giant insurance companies and prevent them from continuing to raise drug costs! PLEASE SHARE THIS!
