✨ Happy 7/7 Portal. ✨

This morning I felt called to take myself down to the Delaware River.

I wasn't looking for answers.
I just wanted to listen to the waves, breathe, and be present.

As I sat there, a tiny little boy in the cutest rain boots was absolutely living his best life. He was throwing giant rocks into the water, making the biggest splashes he could, and laughing with his whole heart.

I smiled and waved to him, and he got so excited...

The very next second...

**SPLASH!** 😂

His little butt, shorts, and diaper were completely soaked.

His mom laughed and said, "Ooh... be careful!"

Then she smiled at me and said, "I always keep a change of clothes with me for when he gets messy."

Without even thinking, I replied, "Yeah... we all get a little messy sometimes. Wouldn't it be nice if this was the kind of messy we got into?"

She laughed and said, "Yeah... my messy is way different."

I smiled and said, "I hear you. Mine too."

For just a moment, two complete strangers shared a truth that needed no explanation.

Because isn't that life?

As adults, our messes aren't muddy diapers and wet shorts anymore.

They're grief.
Heartbreak.
Stress.
Anxiety.
Family.
Finances.
Health.
The things we carry that no one else can see.

Watching that little boy, I couldn't help but think...

He didn't care that he got soaked.

He was too busy experiencing the joy of making the biggest splash he could.

Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, so many of us stop splashing because we're afraid of making a mess.

Then, because God has such a beautiful sense of humor...

A whole line of ducks waddled by. 🦆🦆🦆

I literally laughed out loud.🤣😂🤣

And thought- Well... I guess it's time to get my ducks in a row. I gotta go

But maybe...

Maybe getting our ducks in a row isn't about having everything perfectly organized.

Maybe it's about getting ourselves back in alignment.

Our heart.
Our mind.
Our body.
Our spirit.

Because when those are in a row, life has a funny way of taking care of the rest.

Today's healing didn't come from a meditation.
It didn't come from a book.
It didn't come from a profound spiritual download.

It came from waves...
A little boy in rain boots...
A conversation with a stranger...
And a family of ducks that apparently understood today's assignment.

Life really is that beautiful if we slow down long enough to notice it. ❤️

What simple moment has made you smile lately?
Or better yet can you promise to seek out a simple moment to enjoy over the next 24 hours?
Bonus Love if you bring your butt right back here and tell us all about it 😘🌻

The end of May brought the loss of one of my very first Reiki Master students, Linda.

Linda was pure sunshine. She had this bright, joyful energy that could light up a room. She absolutely adored nature, hugged trees without the slightest bit of embarrassment, and could make a new friend anywhere she went. She wasn't just a person SHE WAS A WHOLE VIBE. Truthfully, she's someone I now consciously try to embody a little more every day

June brought the loss of my sweet friend, Judy Kay.

To know Judy was an honor. She was a world-renowned superstar in her field, yet somehow she always made people feel like they mattered. I feel incredibly grateful that our paths crossed and that I got to share conversations, laughter, wisdom, and energy with such an extraordinary woman.

Now July has brought the loss of my Dear Aunt Debbie.

If you ever had the privilege of knowing Aunt Debbie, I have a feeling she made you feel exactly the way she made me feel - Loved, welcomed, and genuinely happy to see you. Whether it was over the phone or in person, she had this beautiful way of making people feel like they mattered. That's a gift I'll never forget.

Three beautiful souls.

Three completely different personalities.

Three beautiful lights that made this world a little brighter.

As I sat with all of this over the last few days, something really hit me...

Their lives reminded me that our greatest legacy isn't what we accomplish.

It's how we make people feel.

Linda made people feel joy.

Judy made people feel inspired.

Debbie made people feel deeply loved.

What an incredible way to be remembered.

Something else I've been noticing about myself...

I don't always look like someone who's grieving.
But somehow every loss is somehow also a reminder that I lost my Dad. Not that I've forgotten, but, I am swimming in the ocean of life again and every death feels like I crash onto the Dad sandbar face first.

I'm usually the one checking on everyone else.
Making the phone calls.
Bringing the groceries.
Providing the laughter.
Offering the hugs.
Holding space.
Making sure everyone around me is okay.

Then I come home...

And that's usually when it all catches up with me.

I've realized I have a lifelong pattern of carrying my grief quietly. I tuck it away, convince myself I'm okay, and just keep moving until my heart finally says, 'Nope! We can't keep moving with all these broken pieces. We gotta put ourselves back together."

For a long time, I thought that made me strong.

Now I'm beginning to wonder if real strength isn't carrying it all alone.

Maybe real strength is allowing the safe people in our lives to know when our hearts are hurting too.

I'm still learning that one.

So if someone you love seems "fine" after a loss, please don't assume they are.

Grief doesn't always show up when expected

Sometimes it waits

Until the casseroles stop coming.

Until the drive home.

Until the house gets quiet.

Until there's finally enough space to feel everything the heart has been carrying.

So today, I just wanted to remind you...

Maybe love them anyway.

Maybe hug them anyway.

Maybe check on them anyway.
Even if they say they're fine.

Because some of the deepest grief is carried so quietly that the world never realizes it's there.

And if you're the one carrying it...

Please be as gentle with yourself as you are with everyone else.

I'm learning that one too. ❤️ Xoxo -Bridget

✨ WELL... THAT TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED. ✨

For those wondering if I fell off the face of the Earth, joined a monastery, or ran away to join the circus...

I'm back. 😆

The truth is, the past year took me on one heck of a journey.

There was healing.

There was learning.

There was growth.

There was grief.

There were a few moments where I questioned all of my life choices and checked into joining that circus 🎪

What started as a short break turned into a season of rebuilding from the inside out.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something:

If I was coming back, I couldn't come back the same. I wasn't the same!

So I didn't just update a few things.

I rebuilt everything.

The website is completely new.

The offerings are completely new.

The sessions have been redesigned from the ground up based on everything I've learned, experienced, and witnessed over the years.

I've spent months asking myself:

"If I could create the exact experiences I would want, and what I want for the people who are putting their trust and faith in me, what would that look like?"

The answer became the foundation for an entirely new way of serving.

Some familiar favorites evolved.

Some entirely new offerings were born.

Every session was intentionally designed to create a deeper, more personalized, and more transformative experience.

And honestly?

I'm ridiculously excited for you to see what I've been working on behind the scenes.

✨ The website is live. Perfection can wait. I was too excited to keep it to myself any longer. 😆

✨ Booking is open.

✨ The next chapter starts now.

Take a look around and tell me which offering you're most excited about.

Thank you to everyone who checked in on me, supported me, encouraged me, and patiently waited while I figured things out.

I've missed you all more than you know, and I'm so excited to be back doing what I love.
