🌾☀️ We are here… in the heart of summer, standing at the threshold of Lughnasadh, the First Harvest. ☀️🌾

The Wheel of the Year continues to turn, and we are entering one of my favourite seasons—a time of gratitude, abundance, and reflection.

Lughnasadh reminds us that every harvest begins with a single seed. It asks us to pause and recognize not only what has grown in our gardens, but also what has blossomed within ourselves.

What intentions did you plant earlier this year?
What dreams have begun to take root?
What are you ready to celebrate, and what no longer serves your journey?

This is the season of homemade bread, wild berries, overflowing gardens, medicinal herbs ready for gathering, and evenings spent around the fire with those we love. It is a reminder that abundance isn’t measured only by what we possess, but by the life we’ve cultivated.

Take a moment over the coming weeks to offer gratitude—to the Earth, to your ancestors, to the changing seasons, and to yourself for all you’ve overcome.

May your harvest be plentiful, your heart be full, and your spirit remember that every ending is also the beginning of something beautiful.

You can’t go wrong planting Asclepias tuberosa in your garden. It is not only the host plant for monarch butterflies, but many other butterflies are attracted to the bright orange flowers. Find seeds here: mybutterflylady.etsy.com/listing/886013644.
