Join Jenn Feldman of Specialisterne USA and Tara May of Aspiritech for a candid fireside conversation exploring what it takes to move from potential to impact through skills development, mentorship, peer networks, employer engagement and beyond.

Our Evanston headquarters got a bit emptier last Thursday, and a whole lot closer to what it’s going to become. 💙

Volunteers from Lincolnwood Lowe’s joined our team for a Red Vest volunteer day to pack up the office and get the space ready for renovation.

The project, funded by a Lowe’s Community Impact Grant, will make critical building repairs, bring the office up to ADA standards and create a more neurodivergent-friendly workspace for our team members, 90% of whom are autistic.

Between boxes and furniture, there were stories, conversations about meaningful employment for autistic adults and plenty of laughter.

Thank you to Lowe's Home Improvement and everyone helping to make our Dream Home a reality. We can’t wait to show you the finished space.

Accommodation requests are a symptom of systems that weren't designed inclusively in the first place. This session makes the strategic case for universal design to organizational leaders.

Robin Kacyn, Director of Inclusion and Outreach, will share and discuss real-life examples of how proactively building inclusive experiences, addressing environmental factors and considering social and emotional needs for neurodivergent individuals reduces friction, increases productivity and benefits everyone, regardless of ability.

For leaders across government, education and nonprofit organizations, digital accessibility often gets treated as a legal checkbox. It's actually a strategic issue and a service-quality issue.

This session, developed in partnership with RaLytics, empowers you to consider the digital systems your organization already owns and ask who they might be leaving behind.

You'll come away with practical guidance you can put to use right away, plus a clearer sense of which systems are worth auditing first.

"Neuro differences such as ADHD, autism, and dyspraxia aren’t what’s holding Americans back at work. It’s the workplace itself, which is still built around narrow definitions of professionalism: the pace, communication style, meeting culture, and unspoken rules."

And today’s youngest workers may be bearing the brunt. Here’s what needs to change.
