Overwhelmed with gratitude for the support from partners UChicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center, Quest Diagnostics, and the Woodlawn community at our annual Friend Health Think Pink event. 💗

Coming together to raise awareness, support survivors, and spread hope, those who joined us learned about the importance of early detection during a presentation from Director of Family Medicine & Immediate Care, Dr. Rene Roberts, engaged with our staff and leadership team, picked up prevention resources, took part in a fun dance lesson and a relaxing meditation session led by Charmaine Moore from Face of Hope and Beauty, and much more. Thank you all!

Friend Health’s Wendy Thompson, Tracey Robison, and Victoria Bell recently joined Chicago Newsroom 2.0 to highlight the impact of our ambitious Community Health Worker program with Malcolm X College.

Through this initiative, 56 Chicago residents have been trained to pursue careers as Community Health Workers—serving as a critical bridge between patients, healthcare providers, and essential community resources.

We are excited to welcome Zachary Spreitzer as Friend Health’s new Chief Financial Officer!

With a career dedicated to serving vulnerable communities across Chicago, Zachary brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and leadership positions across complex, mission-driven healthcare and social service organizations such as Esperanza Health Center, Erie Family Health Centers, and Health Care Service Corporation. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Haymarket Center.
