✨️Transformation Tuesday✨️
Physical Clutter can have a direct impact on your mental health!
That pile you keep saying you will get to that gets bigger every week, the closet that stays full but you dont wear over half of whats in there and then there's the always catch all basement/garage that things just get forgotten about over time.
All these things can cause things like:
Higher Cortisol
•people with cluttered homes tend to have higher cortisol levels compared to people with tidy homes
Cognitive Overload
•when all you see is constant mess or clutter, your brain has a harder time being able to focus on small tasks.
Decision Fatigue
•when the brain is simultaneously processing the constant visual of clutter, that can lead to paralysis and anxiety.
Take your time
Do one corner
One pile
Let it take you a week if thats what you need.
Ask for help.
Dont ask what to get rid of, ask what it is that you want to keep. Sometimes that different perspective makes the decision making easier!
