📢 Hiring Help for Grass Sprigging – Duffy Bros Homesteading!
We’re looking for 3-4 reliable workers to help us sprig grass for two weeks in June.

Pay: $16 per hour

Dates:
• Monday, June 15th – Friday, June 19th
• Monday, June 22nd – Friday, June 26th
Hours: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (7 hours/day)

Meet at our place in Bonifay at 6:30am and we will carpool to the job site in Westville.

What’s provided:
✅ Lunch every day
✅ Water on site
✅Restroom accessible

This is physical outdoor work — perfect for anyone who’s hardworking, dependable, and doesn’t mind being active in the sun. Previous experience with landscaping or farm work is a plus, but we’re happy to train motivated people.
If you’re available for both weeks and can show up on time every day, we’d love to hear from you!

From overgrown to pasture-ready 🌱🚜 There’s a lot that goes into getting land ready for livestock, and this job was a big one—from pulling old fence and rotten posts to clearing brush and smoothing things out for new fencing. Getting the ground cleaned up now makes it safer and easier when animals move in. If your pasture needs a fresh start, give us a shout.

There’s nothing better than helping folks turn a rough patch of yard into something that’ll feed the family for years to come. We were glad to help clear out an old stump, level the ground, and get those raised beds filled and ready for a food forest. Good prep work makes all the difference. 🥕🥒🥬🥔🧅🧄🫛🫑

Water where it matters most. We installed 12 frost proof hydrants for our customer’s orchard and vegetable gardens in Bonifay, FL. From trenching to final flow, this system is built to make watering easier and more reliable.

🌱 Our Latest Renovation is Ready to Grow!🌿

We’re proud to share this beautiful transformation: the complete renovation of the Walton County Master Gardeners greenhouse!

We replaced the old shade cloth and plastic covering, upgraded the irrigation system, gave the structure a fresh coat of paint, and added a new layer of rock around the base for better drainage and a clean look. The result is a durable, functional growing space built to handle Florida weather and support years of community gardening.

A huge thank you to the Walton County Master Gardeners for trusting us with their space. This greenhouse will now serve as a hub for education, plant propagation, and local gardeners.
