🎃 ACCESSIBILITY MATTERS AT THE PUMPKIN SHOW! 🚻💜

The Circleville Pumpkin Show is all about bringing our community together, and that means making sure everyone can enjoy the fun! ❤️

In 2025, Momentum Refresh made a BIG difference! Check out these numbers:

🚻 814 restroom guests used the accessible restroom facilities.
🍼 74 guests used the lactation and calming room.
🗣️ 83 educational tours helped spread awareness about accessibility and inclusion.

That’s 888 visits to restroom and calming room facilities in just FIVE days! These numbers show why accessible restrooms are so important. They help people with disabilities and their families enjoy the Pumpkin Show with greater comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.

The Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to help bring Momentum Refresh back to the Pumpkin Show through grants that support this important service. Because inclusion means more than inviting everyone — it means making sure everyone can participate! 💙

🧼 Big Milestones Start with Little Hands! 🧼

Today is Global Handwashing Day, and in Early Intervention, we know that everyday routines are the perfect playground for learning and independence!
For our littlest learners (ages 0–3), washing hands isn’t just about staying healthy—it’s a wonderful opportunity to build:

✨ Fine Motor Skills (reaching, rubbing palms, and squeezing bubbles)
✨ Sensory Exploration (feeling the warm water and slippery soap)
✨ Communication & Routine (singing a favorite song while scrubbing)

Whether it's a child practicing standing at the sink, learning to rub their hands together, or exploring the bubbles with their family, every step is a win.

🎃 Pumpkin Show Safety ID Badges 🎃

PCBDD is proud to once again offer Safety ID badges during the 2026 Circleville Pumpkin Show! These badges are available for individuals who may have difficulty communicating if they become separated from their family or support person.

We’ve teamed up with the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department to make these badges available at the following locations and times:

📍 Pickaway County Courthouse (Inside)
• Tuesday - Friday : 8:00 am - Noon

📍 Trailer in Front of the Courthouse
• Tuesday - Friday :12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Lanyards have quick break away feature for safety. Limited supply - first come, first serve.
