You can be strong and still lose your independence.

Many people focus on building strength, and that's important. But strength alone doesn't determine whether you can:

✔ Catch yourself when you trip

✔ Climb stairs confidently

✔ Get up from the floor

✔ React quickly when life throws you off balance

Those abilities depend on power—your ability to use strength quickly.

As we age, power declines faster than strength, which is why maintaining it becomes so important.

Feeling dizzy during workouts? Don't ignore it.

If the room seems to spin when you lie back on a bench, get up from the floor, look up during an exercise, or change positions quickly, it may be more than "just dizziness."

One common cause is BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), a condition that occurs when tiny crystals in the inner ear move out of place and affect your balance.

The good news? BPPV is often treatable with simple repositioning techniques.

Too often, people stop exercising, avoid certain movements, or lose confidence in the gym because they think dizziness is something they just have to live with. In many cases, help is available.

If dizziness is affecting your workouts, balance, or daily activities, it may be worth getting evaluated. The right treatment could help you get back to moving safely and confidently.

So - I tried the chicken crust pizza. It was pretty good! I may have over complicated it with the garlic mushroom topping - but overall pretty easy and tasty!
