Today, on Clergy Appreciation Day, take a moment to celebrate and appreciate our Spiritual Resource Coordinator, Jason Peterson. 💚

To be an effective SRC, a person must be empathetic and a good listener. They should have good communication skills and stay composed during conflict resolutions. They need the ability to work among several disciplines, such as healthcare, social services, and faith communities. They must be aware of cultural competence and have an understanding of numerous denominations. This is an accurate description of Jason.

🙏 Thank you, Jason, for having the understanding and compassion needed during all the trials and tribulations life may bring to the people we support and to coworkers throughout the organization.

🎉 Congratulations, Cory! 🎉

Cory recently achieved a goal he set for himself: becoming CPR certified! 💚Through a class at NIACC, he learned CPR, first aid, how to treat burns, and skills that can help save lives.

We’re so proud of Cory for setting a goal, putting in the work, and making it happen! 💪

Pursuing your best life looks different for everyone. For Cory, it means setting goals, learning new skills, and finding new mountains to climb. 🏔️ He’s showing us what’s possible when you keep reaching for something that matters to you.

Last week, we were excited to welcome directors from Central Rivers Area Education Agency to One Vision to learn more about the programs and supports we offer! 🌟

During their visit, our guests toured One Vision and experienced a demonstration of Smart Living, seeing firsthand how technology can support greater independence, safety and choice for people with disabilities.

Building strong connections with community and education partners helps create greater awareness of the possibilities and resources available to individuals and families.

Thank you to the Central Rivers AEA team for spending time with us, asking thoughtful questions and learning more about One Vision. We’re grateful for the opportunity to build partnerships that help people live, work and thrive in their communities. 🤝
