July is Sarcoma & Bone Cancer Awareness Month 💛
Sarcomas are rare and complex cancers that develop in the bones or soft tissues. They can take many different forms, making them difficult to detect and diagnose. While certain genetic conditions may increase the risk of developing a sarcoma, the exact cause of most sarcomas remains unknown.
Symptoms can vary, but one of the most common early signs is a painless lump or swelling that continues to grow over time. As a general rule, any lump that is the size of a golf ball or larger should be evaluated by a healthcare provider.
This July, RCM wants to help raise awareness by sharing information and encourage you to support those affected by sarcoma and bone cancer.
