🤍 Our Baby Girl Is Here 🤍

We are so grateful to finally introduce our beautiful daughter, Daniella Abigail!
Daniella was born August 21 at 1:33 PM, weighing 8 lbs. 2 oz. and measuring 21¾ inches long.

After a long 39-hour labor, I was exhausted and incredibly relieved to finally have our baby girl here in my arms. Through every hour, YHWH (God) was faithful. He carried me through so many moments when I needed Him and gave me the desire of my heart to bring our daughter into the world at home. 🤍

I am incredibly grateful for my husband, who supported me throughout the entire labor. I truly cannot imagine having done it without him. YHWH also brought together such an amazing birth team, and I'm so thankful for each of them—Candice, my midwife; Abigail, her assistant; Bethany, my birth doula; and Dr. Lauren, my chiropractor.

Daniella is doing wonderfully. She is the most beautiful little baby, and we are completely soaking up these first weeks with her. She loves to eat all the time 😂, but overall she is such a good baby and does wonderfully at night.

I'm still resting and recovering, spending much of my time tucked away with her, taking everything one day at a time and learning this new season of motherhood.

One little note about photos: My husband and I have decided not to publicly share photos of Daniella's face. This is simply a decision we've made together for our family and her privacy as she grows. You may still see little glimpses of our sweet girl, just without her face being shown publicly. 🤍

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this precious blessing and for everyone who prayed for, encouraged, and supported us along the way.

Maternity Leave Update

As many of you know, my husband and I are expecting our baby girl in August! As I prepare for this special season, I've created a Maternity Leave Guide to make everything as clear and simple as possible for my clients.

Although live Zoom and phone sessions will be temporarily paused, care won't stop. I'll continue providing individualized remote sessions through my Temporary Continuing Care System.

And finally, she determined the work was simply too exhausting and fell asleep on the job. 😴

Safe to say Ellie isn't taking new clients anytime soon. 😂

One thing I've been learning during this pregnancy is that some seasons are meant to be embraced, not rushed through.

As I prepare to welcome our baby girl, I've spent a lot of time praying about what I want this season to look like.

And one thing I know for certain is that I don't want to miss it.

I want to be fully present.

I want to slow down.

I want to embrace motherhood well.

I also want to continue supporting the incredible people YHWH has brought into my life and practice, but in a way that is peaceful, sustainable, and intentional.

Over the coming weeks, I'll be sharing more details about what that season will look like, and I'm grateful for all of the love, encouragement, and support I've already received. 🤍

Motherhood is such a gift, and I'm excited for all that this next chapter holds.
