The Mental Health Awareness Month series is all about providing self-care tips for the people who give so much of themselves to others.
𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝟓: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬... 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮.
You bring patience, focus, and compassion to your work each day, even the ones that feel routine. But you cannot keep giving at that level when you're not also taking care of yourself.
You matter, too. Not just for the work you do, but for who you are.
𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤:
1️⃣ Do one thing for yourself after work that has nothing to do with your job.
2️⃣ Protect your rest, even if it means saying no to something.
3️⃣ Acknowledge one thing you did well today.
As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to an end, here's what we hope you carry with you: 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞.
