Some people just have that “figure it out and make it happen” energy — and that’s exactly what we’ve seen from Alissa. 💊✨

Alissa recently passed her pharmacy tech certification exam after studying so hard, and immediately stepped into a huge new role at Roden Smith Pharmacy.

She’s now managing RapidPak — one of the most detail-heavy and important systems in the pharmacy. Every patient profile has to be exactly right before it ever reaches the pharmacist, and she absolutely took the bull by the horns and went for it.

Honestly, we hate pulling her from the front sometimes because she’s incredible with customers too. But since becoming a certified tech, she’s completely flipped a switch. Phones, lunches, helping wherever needed, learning quickly, keeping morale high — she’s become the ultimate catch-all teammate.

And the wild part? She’s done all of this fast.

We’re really proud of her. 👏

Meet Shelby 🤍

If you can’t find Shelby at the pharmacy, there’s a decent chance she’s out bottle-feeding lambs, working on a ranch project, or fixing up living quarters in a horse trailer somewhere. Country girl through and through.

But around here? She’s one of the steady hands keeping the whole place moving.

Shelby’s been with us for about a year and a half, and somehow manages to balance pharmacist life, mom life, and ranch life all at once — usually with a sarcastic comment thrown in at exactly the right moment. 😂

Her coworkers will tell you she’s the kind of person who can quietly lock in and run the entire front bench by herself if needed. Hardworking, dependable, sharp, and also usually the one brave enough to say out loud what everyone else is thinking.

She’s tough on herself, hilarious without trying to be, and a huge part of what makes this team work so well.

We’re really thankful for Shelby around here. Next time you see her, make sure to say hi (and maybe ask her about the lambs). 🐑💊

Somehow the clerks at Roden Smith Pharmacy has developed their own tiny cinematic universe… and honestly, we’re just trying to keep up. 😂

There have been:
🐥 Ducks “getting their ducks in a row”
🐮 A kidnapped Highland cow complete with ransom notes
👶 Baby Jesus reportedly going on strike
…and several incidents only they could fully describe.

But behind the tiny plastic chaos is actually a really special team.

Kambree, Vanessa, Jayda, Lizbeth have built such a fun little sisterhood over there. They work hard, keep things moving, take great care of customers, and somehow still find ways to laugh all day long.

Honestly, you can feel it when you walk in. 💙
Clean, friendly, fun… and apparently lightly supervised.

Inventory weekend = all hands on deck — and this team showed up in a big way.

Giving up time they’d usually spend resting or with family, they came in focused, organized, and ready to get it done right.

Inventory at Roden Smith Pharmacy is a full, top-to-bottom count of everything in the store - every medication, every shelf, every detail accounted for.

It’s not glamorous, but it’s essential to running a safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy for our patients.

Highlight moment: Alissa discovering a hidden stash of 100+ Kleenex boxes and deciding they absolutely needed to be counted 😂 — thorough is an understatement.

That’s the level of care we’re working with around here. Good work, team!
