🧠SUPPLEMENTS & BRAIN HEALTH
There is no single pill or supplement that can prevent Alzheimer’s.
Supplements are actually the seventh strategy in the Bredesen Protocol, and they are meant to work alongside nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, brain stimulation, and reducing toxic exposures.
And when it comes to supplements, more isn’t necessarily better.
In my work, I generally think about supplements in two ways: foundational supplements that provide ongoing support for brain and overall health, and targeted supplements chosen to address something specific that may be contributing to cognitive decline.
That distinction matters. A supplement shouldn’t be chosen simply because you’ve heard it’s “good for the brain.” We want to understand what your body actually needs and why.
I shared more about foundational and targeted supplements, along with why supplement quality and where you purchase them matter, inside my private Facebook group, The Prevention Path: Hope for Alzheimer’s.
