Would YOU take a shot for extra protection against being glutened? 💉👀

Teva just announced promising results from a trial involving 50 adults with celiac disease. Patients received ONE SHOT of its experimental drug, TEV-408, and then consumed the equivalent of one slice of gluten bread each day for 6 weeks. 🍞

And patients given the drug had less gut damage & inflammation compared to the placebo. 🥳

🚨 This is still early research and the goal of this drug is to be used alongside a gluten free diet.

But after 13 years with celiac, the thought of having an extra layer of protection at restaurants, family meals or while traveling? That would mean SO much. 🥹😭
