I have recently been invited to present at a local event on "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent". I really enjoy sharing information with others and I am looking for opportunities to do it more often!

This is a really busy time of year as many kids are learning how to get to school on time, how to get their homework done and a bedtime routine that actually prepares them for sleep. It is not easy being a kid and hardworking and motivated parents are helping.

When used correctly, Love and Logic is a great program for those strong willed kids, although, the strong willed kids don't always like it!

I just finished reading the "Yes Brain" by Dr. Daniel Siegel and I am a fan of Dr. Siegel. I just don't know what I think about this book? What are your thoughts?

It has begun; busy schedules, hectic routines and tons of stress. I have seen hard working and motivated parents doing some great things and I have learned a lot from them over the past 25yrs. I am looking forward to learning more this year!

I am honored and amazed, how kids will open up and communicate in the play room. It really does show the power of being a good listener.

I really enjoy using some of the concepts of IFS with young kids and their feelings. It often leads to some very interesting conversations. Let me know how you use IFS with kids.

It is amazing how beneficial it is for kids to have their weekly special play time at the office and I always encourage parents to do the same at home.
