今日の書
BREATHE — 息
In Japanese, the word 息 (iki) means “breath.”
What makes this word beautiful is the way it is written:
自 — Myself
心 — heart
Together, they form 息 — breath.
It reminds us that breathing is more than simply taking air in and letting it out.
To breathe is to return to yourself.
To listen to your heart.
To find your center.
When life becomes busy, stressful, or overwhelming, we often forget to breathe. We forget to pause and simply be.
One deep breath can bring us back to the present moment.
Breathe in.
Come back to yourself.
Breathe out.
Let go.
Your breath is always with you.
It is a quiet reminder that, no matter what is happening around you, you can always return to your own heart.
息 — Breathe.
Be present.
Be yourself.
