We had a fantastic day today at MP! Over seventy athletes came together for a pickleball extravaganza at MP Pickleball Club in Columbus, OH. More than seventy athletes who believe in an active lifestyle competed, had fun, and built friendships in this pickleball tournament.
Team HIRA is so happy to see several athletes sharing their phone numbers with each other — this is exactly what we wanted from a tournament like this: to build friendships and inspire one another toward active living and healthy lifestyles.

What started a few years ago as a group of friends just getting together to hike, run, and stay active has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.
Early 2026, we registered HIRA as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit! Our goal has always been simple: to help our community live healthier, more active lives. Because of the incredible generosity of our donors and local sponsors, we’ve been able to keep our programs completely free—removing barriers so everyone can join in.
And we’re keeping the momentum going this weekend!
We’re hosting the HIRA Pickleball Tournament, presented by Dream Team Lending. Over 70 Nepali players of all skill levels will be competing for gold across 8 categories.
