🎓✨ Congratulations to Emily Rose, recipient of Kay Campbell Nursing Scholarship!

Emily is a graduate of Bell County High School and will continue her education at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College, where she plans to earn her CNA certification before continuing on to Lincoln Memorial University for nursing school. Her ultimate goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner! 🩺💙

Throughout high school, Emily stayed actively involved as a member of the volleyball and softball teams, as well as BETA Club, National Honor Society, and First Priority.

We are so proud of Emily and excited to see all she accomplishes as she begins her journey toward a career in healthcare. Congratulations, Emily! 🎉👏

Grace Health Welcomes First Physician to New Residency Assistance and Loan Program! 🌟

Grace Health is proud to announce that Dr. Shaylla Moore, D.O., is the first physician to sign the organization’s new Physician Residency Assistance and Loan Agreement, marking an important milestone in Grace Health’s ongoing commitment to strengthening access to healthcare in Southeastern Kentucky.

Dr. Moore is currently completing her Family Medicine Residency at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and is anticipated to graduate in June 2028. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University -DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition with a minor in Biology from the University of Kentucky, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Originally from Corbin, Dr. Moore attended Corbin High School and plans to return to the community where she was born and raised to serve her hometown.

Dr. Moore has demonstrated a strong commitment to family medicine and healthcare in Kentucky. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians and has participated in educational presentations through the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital residency programs. Her academic and research experiences have also included work focused on healthcare challenges affecting Kentucky communities.

Through the Residency Assistance and Loan Program, Grace Health is investing in physicians while they complete their training and creating a pathway for talented physicians to establish their careers in the communities we serve.

Dr. Moore is the first physician to participate in this program, making her a meaningful part of Grace Health’s efforts to build the next generation of healthcare physicians in Southeastern Kentucky.

Her decision represents more than the beginning of a professional relationship—it represents an investment in the future of healthcare for our region.

We are investing today to help ensure our communities have access to physicians tomorrow. 💙
