Help us celebrate Kari Jones, Office Manager/Medical Assistant at New Hope Clinic in Americus & Cordele, on 5 years with CareConnect! Kari loves working in behavioral health and helping people feel heard and supported. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing patients come to New Hope and make it a place where they feel safe and comfortable.

Outside of work, Kari enjoys spending time with her children, tackling escape rooms, and taking spontaneous road trips!

Behind the scenes, our Credentialing team performs the essential work that keeps our providers ready to deliver exceptional care from day one! 🩺✨

If you’ve ever wondered what credentialing entails, they serve as our healthcare team's ultimate support system. They manage the complex background approvals, insurance network enrollments, and onboarding paperwork required before a provider ever steps foot on the clinic floor.

Beyond onboarding, they continuously manage critical compliance tracking for current providers—ensuring medical licenses, DEA registrations, BLS certifications, and other credentials remain fully up to date.

Without their sharp eye on deadlines and seamless coordination, our clinics couldn’t stay open or compliant. We are so proud to highlight them in our series! Thank you for your hard work and dedication! 💙

From tracking down inventory to managing requests across every location, her hustle and incredible organization take a huge weight off our clinic teams. Every day, this hardworking duo tackles an average of 40 to 45 records—handling requests from our patients, other doctor’s offices, attorneys, and everyone in between. We are so excited to kick off our Unsung Heroes of CareConnect series by celebrating a group that truly lives up to its name: the Angel Support Team! Operating behind the scenes to support our clinics, their work touches every corner of our organization- providing training for all new providers on our EMR system, on-site training to both front office and clinical teams and ensuring our staff always feel confident and supported. You’ll regularly find them leading Quality Improvement projects and partnering with insurance companies to close care gaps. We are grateful for the dedication and hard work they bring to CareConnect every single day!
