It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Patricia Coussens, a cherished member of our community who served Hawkinsville for over 35 years.

To those who knew her, Dr. Coussens was a true "spitfire" with a spirit as vibrant as the lives she helped bring into this world. As an OB/GYN, she carried that same passion into her work; when she loved, she loved hard. That intensity and devotion were felt by every mother, family, and colleague who had the privilege of working alongside her.

For more than three decades, she walked with families through their most vulnerable and joyful moments. She wasn't just a physician; she was a partner in the most important journey of a family’s life. Generations of children in our community took their first breath in her care, and her legacy is woven into the very fabric of the families she helped build.

We are profoundly grateful for her service, her strength, and her heart. While she will be deeply missed, her impact will continue to live on through the thousands of lives she touched.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family and all who were lucky enough to be loved by her.

Eight years of keeping us compliant, connected, and moving forward! Happy Work Anniversary to our Credentialing Manager, Elizabeth Gay! 🎉

She works hard behind the scenes to keep our offices and providers fully credentialed. Elizabeth shared: “It is rewarding knowing that the work we do behind the scenes for our providers to be credentialed and compliant makes it so that their focus can be on patient care.”

Outside of work, Elizabeth is all about family and adventure—whether she's hanging out with her pups, riding her Can-Am, or getting in some quality cuddle time with her baby niece.
