6 Years of Hair Studio 90 & A New Beginning!

Today marks 6 years since I opened Hair Studio 90, and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by starting Day 1 of our salon expansion!

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your love, loyalty, and support throughout this incredible journey. I have poured my heart and soul into this business, and while it may have started as my dream, it would not be what it is today without all of you.

As excited as we are for this next chapter, we ask for a little patience and understanding over the next month as construction is underway. There may be a few temporary inconveniences, but we promise the end result will be worth it!

Hello all my favorite people! It’s Tandra here, and I’m so excited to officially introduce you to my baby sister, Breonna!

Breonna will be graduating from hair school the first week of June, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Although she is just now becoming licensed, she is definitely not new to the cosmetology industry. Breonna first started her cosmetology journey in high school, where she completed the cosmetology program before graduating in 2020. She then chose to further her education by enrolling in a year-long adult cosmetology program to continue perfecting her craft before entering the industry full time.

Outside of hair, Breonna loves spending time with her son and fiancé, attending concerts, and expressing herself creatively. She has always been an artist at heart. It all started with drawing when she was little, and over the years that passion evolved into hair and all the creativity that comes with it.

We are so excited to watch her grow, thrive, and build her career here at Hair Studio 90. I know she is going to be an amazing addition to our team!

I want to personally reach out and sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused by a scam that has recently been circulating involving Hair Studio 90.

It has come to my attention that someone by the name of Serilda Phillips has been falsely representing our salon and requesting pre-payments for appointments. Please know that Hair Studio 90 will never ask for any form of payment in advance to secure your appointment.

If you are ever unsure about a message, payment request, or appointment, I strongly encourage you to contact the salon directly at 607-543-4631 to verify.

Unfortunately, we have already had three clients affected by this situation, and I am truly sorry to anyone who has experienced this. Your trust means everything to me, and I take this matter very seriously.

It’s not often that, as stylists, we get the chance to sit back and be pampered ourselves — but today was Lisa’s turn. If you know us, you know our tradition: Lisa gets a full highlight and then lets me take over and surprise her with whatever fun colors I’m feeling inspired by.

This time, the color was inspired by the sunsets I used to love watching over the hill in Scott when we lived there — those warm, glowing tones that fade together perfectly at the end of the day were my favorite 🌅

Hair Studio 90 – Spring & Summer Hours Update 🌻

To all of my amazing clients,

As we head into the warmer months, I want to give everyone a heads up about my schedule change for spring and summer.

I will not be working weekends during the spring and summer months. My children are just as important to me as my job, and after working so much this winter, it’s really important that I protect that time and keep a healthy balance between work and family.

I know many of you rely on weekend appointments because of your own busy work schedules, and I truly understand that this may cause some inconvenience. Please know this decision wasn’t made lightly.

✨ I will continue offering my late nights on Thursdays, and I strongly recommend pre-booking your Thursday evening appointments as soon as possible — those spots will fill quickly!

I appreciate each and every one of you more than you know. Thank you for supporting not just my business, but my life outside of it too. That balance allows me to show up refreshed, inspired, and ready to make you feel your absolute best.

I can’t wait to see you all and enjoy the sunshine together! ☀️
