After my lung was punctured, I started looking at my body differently.

I wish I could say I suddenly had all the answers.

I didn’t.

What I did have was a growing curiosity.

I wanted to understand my body—not just when something was wrong, but when it was trying to communicate with me.

That curiosity led me down a path I never could have predicted.

I went deeper into my background in biology, but I also began exploring the things that couldn’t be separated from the physical body—breath, movement, energy, stress, emotions, and the nervous system.

Yoga became part of that journey.

So did Kundalini breathing.

Then came Qigong, Reiki, sound healing, EFT, energy medicine, and Quantum Nutrition Testing.

Each experience taught me something different.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something important:

I didn’t leave science behind.

I went deeper.

I stopped seeing science and holistic healing as two opposing worlds.

Instead, I became curious about what happens when we are willing to look at the whole person.

That changed everything about the way I approached wellness.

Because when someone tells me,

“I just don’t feel like myself anymore.”

I don’t want to immediately focus on making one symptom disappear.

I want to understand the bigger picture.

What’s happening in their body?
What’s changed?
What are they experiencing?
What might their body be communicating?

And how can we support the body as a whole?

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. And I’m still on my own journey.

But that’s exactly why I care so deeply about helping other people find theirs.

Because I’ve learned something I wish more people knew:

Your body isn’t working against you.

It’s constantly communicating with you.

Sometimes we just need to learn how to listen.

The Little Things

Today, a child client gave me a pet rock. 🥹❤️

And honestly… it made my whole day.

To a child, it’s just a little rock that became a “pet.” But the fact that they chose to share something special with me reminded me of something we adults can easily forget:

It doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.

Sometimes it’s a little rock.
A handmade picture.
A flower picked just for you.
A hug.
A simple, “I thought you might like this.”

Children have a beautiful way of reminding us that love doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes the smallest gifts carry the biggest pieces of heart. ❤️

And yes… my new pet rock is officially coming home with me. 🪨🥰

I don’t talk about this very often…

There was a time in my life when my relationship with my body changed completely.

I had a punctured lung.

And for the first time, I really understood what it meant to not be able to take a breath for granted.

It was scary.

But looking back, it was also a turning point for me.

I had always been fascinated by the human body. My background is in biology, so I understood the science behind what was happening.

But experiencing it personally was different.

It made me start asking bigger questions.

Why did this happen?

What was my body trying to tell me?

And how could I become more connected to my own body instead of simply reacting when something went wrong?

Those questions sent me deeper into my own healing and into exploring the relationship between the body, breath, movement, energy, stress, and emotions.

Yoga became part of that journey.
So did Kundalini breathing, Qigong, Reiki, sound healing, EFT, energy medicine, and other holistic practices.

I didn’t know it at the time, but this experience would become one of the turning points that shaped the work I do today.

Sometimes the experiences we never would have chosen become the experiences that change us the most.

And this was one of those experiences for me.

There is so much more to this story…

❤️ Part 2 coming Wednesday.

❤️Love Has a Healing Power❤️

Sometimes healing doesn’t come from doing more.

Sometimes it comes from feeling safe enough to soften.

A kind word.
A hand held.
A hug that lasted a little longer.
A friend who simply sits beside you.
A dog who somehow knows you need them.
A reminder that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Your body is always listening to the environment around you-including the emotional one.

Love, connection, and feeling safe, can help us out of survival mode and create space for the body to Rest, Restore, and Heal.

We often think healing is something we have to do to ourselves.

But sometimes, healing is something we all allow ourselves to receive.

So today, give a little more love -and be willing to receive it too.

Who is someone whose love has helped you through a difficult season?

The truth I have been afraid to share…

Even though I’ve spent years studying biology, research, holistic healing, Quantum Nutrition Testing, Qigong, and helping people uncover the root causes of their health challenges, I’ve kept much of my own story in the background.

I have to admit that I haven’t shared enough about why this work means so much to me.

Because I spent years searching for answers myself—and because I wasn’t sure my personal journey mattered—I focused on teaching and serving rather than letting people see the heart behind what I do.

But that changes this week.

The truth is… this path wasn’t something I simply chose. It was born from my own experience of feeling disconnected from my body, being told that certain symptoms were “just part of getting older,” and wondering if I’d ever truly feel like myself again.

That journey transformed my life.

It led me from a career in biology and biomedical research into the world of holistic healing, where I discovered that our bodies are always communicating with us. They aren’t working against us—they’re asking us to listen.

Today, my greatest joy is helping others reconnect with that wisdom so they can stop chasing symptoms and begin discovering the root cause of what’s really going on.

Over the coming weeks, I’m choosing to share more of my story—the struggles, the lessons, and the moments that shaped the practitioner I’ve become—because I know there are so many people who feel unheard, exhausted, or frustrated by their health and simply want to feel vibrant, understood, and at home in their bodies again.

It would mean so much to me if you left a ❤️ or a comment below to let me know you’re here. Your encouragement would mean the world as I begin sharing more openly.

What Ivy taught me yesterday 🐾

I’d like to know how Ivy managed to find the only position that looks like it should require a chiropractor… and somehow be completely comfortable. 😂

There she was—twisted like a pretzel, sprawled across the couch, face in the sun, snoring without a single worry in the world.
Meanwhile, I sleep on the wrong pillow for five minutes and wake up needing a full-body reboot.

Maybe dogs really have life figured out:
☀️ Find the sunshine.
🛋️ Claim your spot.
😴 Nap like it’s your full-time job.
💛 Don’t apologize for taking up space.

I think I’ll let Ivy keep being my life coach… at least until she starts charging for consultations. 🐾

🌕 Full Buck Moon Energy

There is something special about standing beneath a full moon.

For a few quiet moments, let your shoulders soften. Feel your feet on the earth. Breathe a little slower.

In Qigong, we learn that healing begins when we stop fighting our bodies and start listening to them. The moon reminds us that every cycle has a purpose—times to grow, times to rest, and times to let go.

Tonight, ask yourself:
✨ What am I ready to release?
✨ What do I want to nourish?
✨ How can I show up for myself with a little more grace?

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just take one mindful breath under the moonlight and trust that your next step will reveal itself.

Wishing you a peaceful and grounding Full Buck Moon. 🌕💛

What if…

Your body is not working against you?

What if it has been whispering quietly to you for years, and life is simply too loud for you to hear it?

What if your exhaustion is not a weakness…but an invitation to rest differently?

What if the fog is not your mind failing…but your body asking for clarity?

What if the changes you have blamed on age are actually asking you to pay attention? To slow down, nourish yourself, breathe deeper, move differently and become curious again?

Maybe healing does not begin with finding another quick fix.

Maybe it begins the moment we stop fighting our bodies…and you start listening .

Your body has carried you through every joy, every heartbeat, every sleepless night, every season of becoming.

Perhaps it is not asking you to fix it.
Perhaps it is simply asking you to come back home to it.

Because sometimes the greatest shift does not happen when we change our body…

It happens when we change the relationship we have with it.

What if you start listening….

What if you make one slight change that it needs…

What if…
