9/25 is a good day to remind you that Dolly Parton’s legendary “9 to 5” could help you save a life with Hands-Only CPR.

If you see a teen or adult collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest.

🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Will Never Forget.

Today we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the countless families, friends, and communities forever changed.

We remember the firefighters, EMS professionals, law enforcement officers, military members, and ordinary people who answered an extraordinary call that day—many running toward danger while others were running away.

For those of us connected to the fire, EMS, healthcare, and military communities, the legacy of 9/11 carries a special weight. It is a reminder of courage, service, sacrifice, and the responsibility to care for one another.

May we continue to tell their stories, honor their service, and remember the lives behind the numbers.

🇺🇸 Never Forget.

🚨 If you had to pull over on the side of the road tonight, how visible would your vehicle be?

One of the most important parts of a roadside emergency is making sure other drivers can SEE you—especially at night, in heavy rain, or when visibility is poor.

🚗 Frost Rescue Pick: Magnetic LED Roadside Emergency Beacon

This portable amber warning light has a magnetic base that allows it to attach to a vehicle and provide an additional flashing warning signal during a breakdown or roadside emergency.

We like this as another simple addition to your vehicle emergency supplies—especially for those late-night drives, road trips, and unpredictable Louisiana weather. 🌧️

💡 Frost Rescue Tip: If you have to stop on the roadside, prioritize your own safety first. Get as far away from moving traffic as safely possible, turn on your vehicle's hazard lights, and avoid standing in or near travel lanes.

A first aid kit helps you treat injuries.
A trauma kit helps you respond to serious bleeding.
A roadside kit helps when the vehicle has a problem.
And visibility equipment helps other drivers see you.

Preparedness isn't one item—it's having the right tools for different emergencies and knowing how to use them. ❤️

🇺🇸 Never Forget 5K 🇺🇸

A morning spent together remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honoring the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

More than two decades later, we still remember their courage, sacrifice, and service.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸 9/11/01

🌧️🚗 Rainy days are a good reminder to ask: Is your vehicle actually prepared for an emergency?

Getting stranded on the side of the road is never convenient—but add pouring rain, a dead battery, a flat tire, or nighttime conditions and things can get stressful quickly.

🚘 Frost Rescue Pick: EVERLIT Roadside Assistance Kit

We like the idea of keeping a dedicated roadside emergency kit in every family vehicle, especially during Louisiana's rainy and stormy seasons. This all-in-one kit keeps useful roadside supplies together so you're not searching through the trunk when something goes wrong.

💡 Frost Rescue Tip: Your vehicle emergency supplies should go beyond just a first aid kit. Think about the situations that could leave you stranded and prepare for those too.

We recommend keeping:
☔ Rain protection
🔦 A reliable flashlight
🔋 A charged power bank
🩹 First aid & trauma supplies
💧 Bottled water
🚗 Roadside emergency equipment

And don't forget to check your supplies periodically!

Being prepared isn't about expecting something to go wrong—it's about making a bad situation a little easier when it does. ❤️

🚗🩸 Your vehicle emergency kit should include more than jumper cables and a flashlight.

Car crashes and serious injuries can happen anywhere, and severe bleeding is one of those emergencies where being prepared before it happens matters.

🚑 Frost Rescue Pick: TacMed Solutions Glovebox Trauma Kit

This compact kit is designed to stay within reach in your vehicle and includes essential bleeding-control and emergency supplies, including:

• SOF® Tourniquet
• OLAES® Modular Bandage
• Trauma shears
• Nitrile gloves
• CPR face shield
• Medical tape

It's compact enough for the glovebox, making it a practical addition to your daily driver, family vehicle, work truck, or road-trip emergency supplies.

💡 Frost Rescue Tip: Emergency equipment is only as useful as your ability to use it. Learn basic first aid and bleeding-control skills before you're faced with an emergency.

We hope you never need it—but we'd rather have the right supplies within arm's reach and never use them than need them and not have them. ❤️
