🎀💗 Happy Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💗🎀

Today, our residents and staff came together for a special Pink Out Day at Spring Oak! We proudly wore pink to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and recognize the impact breast cancer has on individuals, families, and our community. 💕🎗️

But that wasn’t all! Our Pink Out Day also doubled as a Pink Panther Birthday Celebration as we honored our October birthday residents! 🐾🎂🎉

From pink outfits to birthday smiles, the day was filled with love, laughter, celebration, and cheer all around! A special thank you to Legacy Hospice for adding a sweet touch to our pink theme with delicious strawberry cheesecake! 🍓🍰💗 Your thoughtfulness helped make our celebration even more special.

☕️ Happy International Coffee Day! ☕️

Our coffee shop was open today as we celebrated International Coffee Day with our friends from Hospice of the Piedmont❤️

We enjoyed delicious coffee provided by Raven's Nest Coffee House , along with an assortment of creamers and even a little iced coffee! 🧊☕️ And if you’re not a coffee lover, no problem—we had tea and a sweet treat waiting for you, too! 🍪🫖

We spent the day learning about the history of coffee, exploring different ways coffee has been enjoyed throughout the years, and hearing some fun stories about its beginnings. Most importantly, we enjoyed plenty of laughs, stories, and good times with friends, family, and staff.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate one of our favorite beverages! ☕️💛

It’s time to bring out the fall decorations, and today we got creative with some beautiful DIY fall wreaths! 🍂

Our residents had a wonderful time creating, tying ribbons, choosing pretty fall flowers, and adding their own special touches to each wreath. 🌻🎀

There’s nothing better than spending time together, getting a little creative, and welcoming the beautiful fall season! 🧡🍁

🌸 A Beautiful Day at Flowers of the Farmhouse! 🌸

A beautiful time was had yesterday during our outing to Flowers At The Farmhouse Our residents enjoyed picking beautiful flowers, sharing laughter, and gathering together for a lovely picnic lunch. 💐🧺

We are so blessed to have these special moments together, enjoying the beauty of nature, good food, friendship, and a beautiful day. These are the memories we cherish! ❤️🌷

🏺✨ Getting Creative with Clay! ✨🏺

We put our creativity to the test this month with our very own handmade pottery trays and bowls! 🎨👐

We were inspired by our very own pottery expert, Maree, who helped guide the way and encouraged her friends to be as creative as possible. She shared her passion for pottery and had a wonderful time helping everyone transform simple clay into their very own pieces of art.

There’s something special about creating with your hands, sharing ideas with friends, and watching a little piece of clay become something beautiful. 💜

We had so much fun getting our hands dirty and letting our creativity shine! 🌟

Today, on World Alzheimer’s Day, we are thinking of the residents and families whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

For us, memory care is personal. It is knowing someone’s favorite song, the stories they love to tell, the routines that bring comfort, and the little things that help a person feel safe, known, and at home.

We are grateful for the families who allow us to be part of their loved one’s journey, and for the team members who show up each day with patience, kindness, and compassion.

Today, we honor our residents, their families, and everyone walking this journey with them. 💜

💜✨ Our Forget Me Not Gala was AMAZING! 🤩

We had such a beautiful evening coming together for a great cause. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out, supported our event, and participated in our silent auction. Your generosity and support truly meant so much to us!

We are thrilled to share that together, we reached our $500 goal for the Alzheimer’s Association! 🎉💜

This was a wonderful reminder that when a community comes together, we can make a difference—and that’s exactly what we did!

Thank you to everyone who helped make our Forget Me Not Gala such a special night. Together, we can continue to spread awareness, support research, and make a difference. 💜

🌈🐐 National Assisted Living Week Celebration! 🐐🌈

We celebrated the third day of National Assisted Living Week with a colorful day of tie-dye, smiles, and furry friends! Our residents and staff showed off their brightest tie-dye outfits while welcoming Animals Unlimited to our community for an unforgettable petting zoo experience. 🐰🐓🐐

There were plenty of happy faces, gentle animal encounters, and wonderful memories made together. We’re so grateful to Animals Unlimited for bringing the joy of the animal kingdom right to our doorstep! ❤️

What a fantastic way to celebrate the people who make our community so special. 🎉🌈
