Kimberly Bunch knows what it means to be underestimated, and she also knows the power of being given the opportunity to succeed.

Born totally blind and later regaining some vision as a child, Kimberly has spent much of her life finding ways to support others. That started during her time at the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired, where she helped mentor younger students, and continues today through her work at Envision.

Whether she is working in the sewing department in Dallas or helping coworkers safely get home after their shifts, Kimberly brings patience, care and leadership to everything she does.

Her recent national recognition reflects the difference she makes every day — and why access to meaningful employment matters for people who are blind or have low vision.
