“How much does it cost?”

“Do you take Cigna PPO?”

“My QR is tight and causing a pelvic imbalance. Help.”

“Is this AI?”

“My back hurts. What’s wrong?”

We get it.

When you’re in pain, you want answers.

But the truth is, we can’t give you an accurate diagnosis, treatment plan, or total cost without understanding your situation first.

That’s why we start with a conversation.

From there, if you’re a good fit, we can bring you in for a free Discovery Visit where we spend an hour assessing how your body moves, listening to your history, and figuring out what’s actually going on.

As for insurance, RXN is out of network, but there may be options for reimbursement depending on your plan.

And no...

It’s not AI.

Dr. Ryan and Jordan are actually behind the DMs, answering your questions and having real conversations with real people.

So if your back hurts, your knee hurts, your shoulder hurts, or you’re just not moving the way you want to...

You don’t need to send us a novel.

Just tell us what’s going on.

We’ll take it from there.

DM us today and let’s start the conversation.

Struggling to get deeper into your squat?

Your hip mobility could be part of the problem.

The box step-over is a great way to challenge your hips through a controlled range of motion while working on the mobility and control you need to get into deeper squat positions.

But remember, mobility isn’t just about how far you can stretch.

You need to be able to control the range you have and eventually build strength in those positions.

That’s why we don’t just throw random mobility exercises at you.

At RXN Performance, we assess what your body is actually missing and build the right progressions around your goals.

Save this before your next leg day and give it a try.

Stop over-arching your back during hinge movements.

Especially if you’ve had a previous low back injury.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is trying to create stability by constantly cranking into low back extension.

But when you’re already dealing with a sensitive back, repeatedly loading that position can create more irritation than you need.

Instead, try this:

Brace your core.
Relax your shoulders.
Keep your head neutral.
Let your spine stay long as you hinge.

The goal isn’t to completely eliminate movement from your spine.

It’s to stop relying on your low back to do all the work when your hips and core should be contributing to the movement.

And remember, a simple technique modification can help reduce symptoms...

But it doesn’t necessarily address why your back became sensitive in the first place.

If you’ve made these changes and your back still hurts when you hinge, deadlift, or train, it’s time to look deeper.

At RXN Performance, we can assess how you’re moving, figure out what’s limiting you, and build a plan around getting you back to training confidently.

Here’s why traditional PT may not get your knee pain where you actually want it to be.

You go in with knee pain.

You get a quick evaluation.

Then you’re given a handful of exercises designed to get your knee moving and feeling better.

And for some people, that can help.

But the problem is what happens next.

If you’re spending your sessions rotating through the same exercises without ever figuring out why your knee started hurting in the first place, you may feel better temporarily without actually changing the problem.

Maybe your hip isn’t controlling movement properly.

Maybe your ankle isn’t giving you the motion you need.

Maybe your knee isn’t strong enough for the demands you’re putting on it.

Maybe you’ve never progressed your rehab to the activities you actually care about.

That’s where rehab needs to go beyond simply treating the knee.

At RXN Performance, we take the time to understand your movement, your goals, and what your body is currently capable of handling.

Then we build a personalized plan to address what’s actually limiting you and progressively rebuild your capacity.

Because getting your knee to feel better in the clinic is one thing.

Getting back to lifting, running, skiing, playing sports, or doing whatever you love is the real goal.

Does your back hurt during front squats?

Before you stop squatting altogether, try making a few simple adjustments.

First, give yourself a little more room on the bar when you set up your front rack. This can make it easier to get into a comfortable position and keep the bar supported.

Second, if you struggle to get into the bottom of the squat comfortably, try elevating your heels or using lifting shoes.

And third, brace before you squat.

Take a big breath, tighten your abs, and create tension before you descend.

One more thing that gets overlooked:

Lower the weight.

If the load you’re using is more than your body is currently prepared to handle, continuing to push through it isn’t going to help.

Sometimes the best way to keep training while you’re working through an injury is to temporarily reduce the demand and build your capacity back up.

Doing lighter reps consistently is a lot more productive than hitting one heavy set and spending the next two weeks dealing with pain.

These adjustments can help, but if your back pain continues to affect your squat, there may be something deeper that needs to be addressed.

At RXN Performance, we can break down what’s actually limiting your movement and build a plan around getting you back to training confidently.

Temporary relief can feel great.

But feeling better for a few hours, a few days, or even a few weeks doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve fixed the problem.

Things like adjustments, massage, stretching, scraping, or other passive treatments can help manage pain.

But if you want to make lasting changes, your body needs to build the strength and capacity to handle the things you’re asking it to do.

That’s where exercise comes in.

Not just random exercises.

The right exercises.

At the right time.

With the right progression.

That’s how we help you move from simply managing your pain to actually rebuilding your body.

At RXN Performance, we don’t want you dependent on temporary treatments forever.

We want to help you understand what’s contributing to your pain, build the capacity you need, and get you back to doing what you love.

If you’re done covering up your pain and ready to work toward a lasting solution, click the link in our bio to apply for a free 15–20 minute Discovery Call and see how we can help.

Does your back hurt when you do kettlebell swings?

Before you give up on them completely, try modifying the way you’re performing the movement.

One of the biggest things I see is people overextending through their low back instead of creating a strong brace and letting the hips do the work.

The swing should come from your hips, not from repeatedly arching and extending your back.

Think:

Brace your core.
Keep a neutral spine.
Drive your hips back.
Then use your hips to power the kettlebell forward.

This simple adjustment may help reduce the amount of stress you’re putting through your low back.

But here’s the important part:

A movement modification can help you feel better during an exercise.

It doesn’t necessarily tell you why your back hurts in the first place.

If you’re still dealing with back pain every time you swing, squat, deadlift, or train, there’s probably more to address than just your technique.

At RXN Performance, we look at how your entire body is moving and what your body is actually capable of handling so we can build a plan around what you want to do.

If back pain is keeping you from training the way you want,
DM us “BACK” and let’s help you get to the bottom of it.

Your back pain might not actually be coming from your back.

One of the first places we look when someone has recurring low back pain is the hips.

Why?

Because your hips play a huge role in how your body distributes force when you walk, squat, lift, run, and train.

If your hips aren’t moving or controlling movement the way they should, your low back may end up picking up the slack.

That’s why we use movements like the 90-90 hip complex during our assessments.

We’re looking at how your hips move, how they control different positions, and whether you notice differences from one side to the other.

You might feel tension in the front of your hip.

You might notice restriction in the back of your hip.

Or you might even feel your low back working harder than it should.

Those differences can give us important information about what’s actually happening.

But here’s the important part:

A couple of exercises can’t diagnose the root cause of your back pain.

They’re simply a starting point.

At RXN Performance, we take that information and combine it with a full movement assessment to figure out what your body is actually missing and how we can rebuild it.

If you’re tired of guessing what’s causing your back pain,
DM us “BACK” and we’ll help you get started with a free low back assessment.

Hurt your back deadlifting?

That doesn’t necessarily mean you need to stop deadlifting altogether.

Sometimes you just need to modify the movement while you rebuild your capacity.

A raised deadlift can be a great way to reduce the range of motion and gradually reintroduce the deadlift pattern without immediately asking your body to handle the same demands that caused the problem.

Then, as your strength, control, and confidence improve, you can progressively work your way back toward the version of the deadlift you actually want to perform.

The goal isn’t to avoid the movement forever.

It’s to build your body back up so you can handle it again.

If deadlifts are causing you back pain,
DM us “BACK” and we’ll help you figure out where to start.

You can still train… but is it costing you 2–3 days of soreness?

That’s a capacity problem, not a motivation problem.

When you feel that nagging discomfort after your workouts, it’s your body signaling that it’s under-prepared for your current volume.

At RXN Performance, we specialize in helping you rebuild tolerance specifically for what you need. It’s not just about working harder; it’s about training smarter, with a plan that respects your limits.

Don’t settle for soreness—let’s work together to help you train more and hurt less.
